King Little Man

If I was king, well, I imagine this plant as my staff and you as my lowly, I mean, highly-esteemed subjects.

Attention!

What's for dinner?

I was hungry so I went to the grocery store to grab some dinner.

I got soda to drink.

And a Hungry-Man meal to eat.  It came with a brownie!  I love brownies!  The brownie was awesome!

Strange green thing

I came across this strange green thing.

What in the world was it doing?

Super awesome vacation: Alcatraz

I had an awesome ride on the ferry to Alcatraz.

Also called the Rock, Alcatraz is a 22 acre island.  It's most famously known for its years as a federal penitentiary, which closed in 1963 due to high costs and deterioration.

At the Post Exchange building.  It was destroyed by fire in 1970.

The gardens of Alcatraz were superiffic!  This is me in a calla lilly.

And this is me in a cool succulent.

That's the awesome Golden Gate bridge in the background.  There were seagulls everywhere.  I'm glad they didn't swoop down and try to eat me.  That would have been plain awful!

Sitting on the steps behind the cellhouse, near the recreation yard.

The dining area was said to be one of the most dangerous places due to prisoners having access to forks and knives.  Awesome!  I wish I had a knife when I was imprisoned; then I could have freed myself from my yellow plastic prison.

Super awesome vacation: de Young

I went to the de Young Fine Arts Museum.  It's located in Golden Gate Park.

See me by the "F"?  "F" as in fantastic!

Some areas of the museum were dimly lit.

I went up the observation tower to the ninth floor. There were awesome 360-degree views of S.F.

That's the California Academy of Sciences building behind me.

Outside the de Young on ground level were a bunch of sculptures, including a giant safety pin and a bunch of giant apples.  The de Young rocked!  I heart art!  Do you?

Super awesome vacation: Lincoln Park Part II

I hiked down to the rocky beach.

The ocean was awesome!

When the wind blew really hard, I took shelter in a log.  I don't weigh much after all.

Up to my knees in sand.

Too bad I didn't have a bucket and shovel with me.  But never fear.  My mighty green hands worked just as well.

Super awesome vacation: Lincoln Park Part I

I soaked up a bit of sun before going on my way through Lincoln Park.

I didn't stay too long on my awesome red flower seat because I would fade with too much sun exposure.  Yes, fade.  Pale.  Lose my awesome color.  Kind of like good ol' Michael Jackson.  So I beat it.

Overlooking part of the extensive golf course.

On the trail to...

...the beach!

Super awesome vacation: Legion of Honor Part III

There was a special exhibit called Pulp Fashion: The Art of Isabelle de Borchgrave. It was so awesomely special that photos weren't allowed.  Otherwise I would have taken a picture with some of Izzy's spiffy paper clothes.

Back outside the museum.

Wow!  A super old tree!  Awesome!  As long as I'm not in some tragic accident, I'll probably outlive you all.  Totally awesome!  See, there are benefits to being plastic.

Do you spy me, Little Man, in this picture?  Coming up next: Lincoln Park!

Super awesome vacation: Legion of Honor Part II

While walking through the exhibits at the Legion of Honor, I thought about what might have gone through the artists' minds as they created their works of art.

I walked and thought so much that I became awfully famished.  Off to the museum cafe it was!

Enjoying a glass of refreshing water while waiting for my sandwich.

Sitting on my awesome sandwich.  It came with pommes frites.

Lunch reinvigorated me and afterwards I took another gander at the exhibits.

Super awesome vacation: Legion of Honor Part I

I went to the Legion of Honor in San Francisco.  It's an awesome art museum located in Lincoln Park.

Outside were two cool stone lions.

See me by the lion's paw?

If not, well, here's a close up.

I enjoyed walking through the many rooms admiring the awesome works of art.

When I needed a rest, I took a seat on one of the wooden benches. Good thing no big people accidentally sat on me.

Dish washer

If a little man cooks and eats, then a little man's got to clean up afterwards.  It's not the most awesome task in the world but it's got to be done.

Some good scrubby sponges sure do come in handy.

Along with a dish rack.

Oh, and better not forgot the bottle of soap!
