Hello, all my little peeps with little green thumbs! I hope you all had an awesome Christmas; I sure did! Today we look at the wonderful cactus known as a living rock or lithop.
This plant looks a little dead! Fear not, the plants typically only have two leaves at a time and as new ones grow, the outer leaves die.
Let me rotate the pot for you a bit... Here you can see there are actually two plants emerging! How awesome!
Also, as you can see, I give all my plants the loving care they deserve. I'm giving the plant a hug right now!

Game night with Little Man #2
My big friend and I had an awesome game night.
We decided to play Tri-Ominos, the super awesome triangular domino game!
Each player grabs nine triangles.
What spiffy black equilateral triangles with such fine white numbers!
I happened to have drawn the triangle with the highest number in triple so I moved my triangle to the middle of the table to start off the game.
To play the game, you take turns connecting triangles by matching up the numbers on the sides. If you don't have a matching piece, you get to pick a new piece and add it to your bunch of triangles!
Make sure you have a large enough surface area to play on 'cause it can get long and winding!
I happened to win, which was way awesome! Wahoo! I look forward to more game nights with my big buddies!

Eat a star, be a star!
When OneRepublic sings that they'll be counting stars, they're probably not talking about star-shaped crackers.
But I am! These are Safeway Kitchens Flavor Burst Starfish crackers. "Ex-tra" cheddar flavored!
After opening the package, I eagerly reached in and grabbed a star.
None of the stars had smiley faces like the box depicted but they were still awesomely cheesy and delicious! Awesome!

Gotta eat 'em all -- chocoballs!
I had this awesome bag of Lindt Lindor Dark Chocolate Truffles.
As I stood there looking at the package, I decided I might as well open it!
So I opened it and dumped the truffles into an awesome, festive dish.
See the spiffy snowflake decorations on the dish? And see those things that are not truffles?
Those things were a dandy coupon and a piece of Lindt Excellence: A Touch of Sea Salt Dark Chocolate.
I saved those for later and grabbed a truffle.
My, how grand and round it was.
I took a nibble. Boy, oh, boy, was it tasty and smooth!
And inside was, oh my, liquid chocolate! Normally the filling is solid. Maybe there was something wrong with this batch of chocolates. Even so, I ate 'em all! They were mighty tasty!

Hoppin' kangaroos
Kris Kross would say, "Jump jump!" But I say, "Jumpy's!"
This is me stretched out on a bag of Jumpy's Crunchy Kangaroos. They're a potato snack in the shape of -- why yessirree, you guessed it -- kangaroos! Because everyone knows how awesome kangaroos are.
I opened the bag and went inside.
And I brought out a kangaroo. It was salty and awesome and oh, so cuddly! By the way, these little yellow fellows are made in Germany.

Game night with Little Man
Rainy nights are perfect to stay in and have a game night!
My big friend dug out CSI: Crime Scene Investigation -- The Board Game. Awesome!
I decided to play as Gil Grissom and my big friend decided to be Dr. Al Robbins.
Look at the awesome board and cards.
Waiting for the game to start while in Grissom's office! The goal of the game is to go around the board visiting the seven different crime lab divisions to collect evidence, and then to be the first one to go to Grissom's office with a correct arrest warrant proving means, motive, and opportunity.
Got my checklist and ready to play!
Zzzz. Boy, did the game take a long time since you have to roll exact numbers to land inside a crime lab division to collect evidence. I fell asleep on the board! But I guess homicides do take a long time to solve. And I did have fun getting to be Grissom. After all, Grissom says awesome things like, "The evidence never lies." Grissom rocks!

Green and yellow like me!
When I wake up, I'm always ready and rearing to go! After all, awesome adventures await me! I'm also always very hungry. What better way to start the day than with an awesome omelet?
What's going inside my omelet? Jalapenos, arugula, and good ol' American cheese!
Got oil heating in the pan, a scrambled egg, and omelet fillings.

When the pan was heated enough, I poured the egg into it.
After the egg had cooked a bit, I tossed on the jalapenos.
Then I placed the cheese on.
Lastly, I put the arugula on. Then I flipped the egg in half to make my omelet. I may have had too much arugula and my cheese leaked a bit, but my omelet was still delicious and awesome! Even more awesome was that it was green and yellow -- just like me! Have an awesome night, everyone!

Sunny Sunol
I'm a little man and I love the great, big outdoors! There's so much to do and explore out there!
Here I am standing on the spiffy Sunol-Ohlone Regional Wilderness sign. My two big friends probably really liked the sign since it was brown. After all, they always like to comment on how they used to always run out of the brown colored pencil first. Boy, are they silly sometimes.
Crossing the dandy bridge. I heard cows mooing but didn't see any.
Cows are allowed to graze in the park due to the many benefits they provide, including reducing the amount of vegetation which helps prevent wildfires. Awesome!
I had an awesome time hiking through the park.
Climbing over a tree that had fallen across the trail.
And soaking up some sun rays by the awesome creek. I had a grand time!

Let's get minty!
Halloween is tomorrow! It's a great excuse to gorge on candy!
I broke out the bag of Dark Chocolate Mint M&M's.
Wowie, these M&M's are such awesome green colors. I could have just sat there and admired their awesome colors all day. But I couldn't resist gobbling them up!
I decided it'd be easier if I just hopped into the bag and ate directly from there. Mmm. M&M's are awesome!

Oh, Olompali Part II
Remember the last photo from my previous post?
Why, I was in this fantabulous redwood bark kotcha!
After admiring the kotcha inside and out, I went hiking.
Oh boy, oh boy, do I love hiking!
I hiked and I hiked. Oh, how many miles my shiny black plastic shoes traversed!
Did you know the Grateful Dead lived at Olompali for a few months in 1966? Awesome!
Sitting on the "kitchen rock".
I had a great time at Olompali State Historic Park! You should go visit it!
