Game night with Little Man #3

It was supposed to be another awesome game night. 



I got out Parcheesi.  These are the awesome animal pawns.



I suppose I should have become worried when the animal pawns began following me.  But I didn't.  After all, I am a plastic man who moves on his own so it really didn't seem unusual for plastic animals to be moving on their own.



But then the tiger and the water buffalo attacked me and knocked me off my spiffy black shoes!  Ouch!  That was not awesome!



After what seemed like an eternity, they left.  I lay there catching my breath.



But then they all came back and climbed on top of me.  Good thing my big friends soon arrived and saved me from the Parcheesi animals.  My back is sore now.  I think I'll pick a different game next time.

Not-so-brittle brittle

My big friends decided to make some cashew brittle.



Here's the mass of nuts and sugary goodness spread out on a piece of parchment paper.



After I tested out the brittle by sitting on it, my big friends broke it into pieces.



I jumped into the pile... and began digging for treasures!



Behold this mighty stray cashew!



I ate a piece of the cashew brittle.  It was strangely chewy and not brittle.  Days later it took on an odd consistency.  My big friends must have messed up making it.  Oh, well.  Everyone makes mistakes! 

Super duper restaurant

Akebono is a super duper Japanese restaurant on Freeport Boulevard.  There's a Chinese restaurant called Happy Corner in the same building complex but it's more like a Sad Corner because all the people go to Akebono instead.



And yessirree, I also went to Akebono.  Maybe next time I'll go to Happy Corner.  After all, it might just be an Awesome Corner!



Anyways, at Akebono, I ordered a California roll to start off.



Then I had a delicious bento box with sesame chicken and tempura.



Still hungry, I ordered a bowl of ramen noodles.  It was steamy and hot but awesomely delicious!



And last but not least, I decided to top off my meal with some tasty, protein-rich meat!  Boy, oh, boy, was everything delicious!  I love food!

Awesome yogurt hair

I took a quick jaunt to a Menchie's Frozen Yogurt shop in the Bay Area while I was visiting some big friends.  Menchie's is a self-serve frozen yogurt shop.



That's Menchie on the cup and green spoon in the picture above.  He has awesome yogurt hair!  The spiffy spoons make eating the yogurt more awesome!



In fact, the yogurt was so awesome that I got another cup after I polished off the first one.  Mmm, Menchie's!

A big glop for the tots

Oh, what delicious meal has my big friend prepared for me?



Let's take a closer look.



It's pesto pasta with cherry tomatoes!  Mmm.  I love pesto.  Pesto is super awesome plus it's green!  You can never go wrong with green food unless, of course, it's green mold.



And lookie here: Tater tots!  Interesting combination.  But the tots are nice and crispy, a delightful golden brown color, and oh so comfy to sit on -- they're like spiffy little potato logs.



Oh, and look, ketchup!  A big glop of it for the tots.  Awesome!  Let's eat!
