My big friends are avid coin collectors.



I recently got to hang out with their presidential coins.  Each awesome golden coin is worth a dollar.



My favorite president is number 16 -- good ol' Abraham Lincoln!  And no, he was not a vampire hunter. 

Capitol adventures Part II

The grand old State Capitol!



There are spiffy statues of peeps such as this fellow who appeared deep in thought.



Well, I decided to sit on the bench and ponder life with him for a moment.  I pondered how a little plastic man like me can be alive and moving.  Then I thought what a silly thing that is to even think of, so I hopped off the bench and continued on my way.



I walked across these awesome floor tiles.



Then I visited the red room, which is the Senate's chambers.



Next was the green room, which is where the Assembly gathers.  I must say, I liked the green room better.  Green is such an awesome color!



I even got to sit on this green cushioned chair in the rotunda area!  That was super awesome!  The Capitol building rocks big time!

Capitol adventures Part I

The California State Capitol, located in downtown Sacramento, is one awesome old building!



I had the pleasure of meandering the halls recently.



The building is part museum and showcases historic rooms filled with awesome old furniture.



Some of my big friends would die to have awesome old furniture like this.  They call it "retro".



Construction of the Capitol began in 1860 and wasn't completed until 1874.

It's divine at Devine!

Howdy, awesome blog readers!  The gelato is simply divine at Devine!  Devine Gelateria & Cafe in midtown Sacramento, that is.



The place was teeming with big peeps the day I went.  When my turn came up, I ordered chocolate gelato.  It came in a spiffy orange bowl and wowie, it was delicious!  I sat outside on a bench and gobbled it all up.  Mmm mm mm.

Crash landing at the corral

After devouring plate after plate of food at the Golden Corral lunch buffet, it was time for dessert. 



Here's a tasty assortment of sweets.



I jumped into the apple pastry...



...and took off flying through the air!  Wahoo!



But it didn't last long and I crash landed into the chocolate cupcake.



I slid right out of my seat and landed face first in the frosting.  Mmm, sweet.



Attempt #2.  I look around to bring a buddy with me.  Hmm.  How about a worm?



Nah.  I decided to hop on board with a couple of bears.  Time to fly!  (By the way, the buffet was awesome!)
