Little man, big castle Part II

Hearst Castle was designed by famed architect Julia Morgan for William Randolph Hearst, who lived from 1863 to 1951.  The property was donated to the State of California in 1957. 



After the awesome Grand Rooms tour inside Casa Grande, I went exploring some more outside.



There were decorative tiles on some of the staircases.  This particular step had blue rabbits.  Awesome!





Lounging by the outdoor Neptune Pool.



The views were awesome -- I could see the ocean!
