Little Man, big trees Part III

I continued on my way through the North Grove.



There were trees galore! 



Look at the awesome texture of this tree bark.



This would probably be a puddle to big people but to me, it's a lake!



A plaque dedicated to Désiré Fricot, who lived from 1868-1940 and led efforts to establish Calaveras Big Trees as a protected state park.



Long live the awesome big trees!  Then, on my way out of the park, I came across some icy patches...



Awesome!  Calaveras Big Trees State Park rocked!
