Those Swedes sure know how to make good candy. Case in point: The Daim candy bar.
I picked this up from Cost Plus World Market.
Unh! Opening packages sure can be a chore sometimes.
But this one was completely worth the effort.
Nom nom nom. Crunchy and chocolately, this bar was super ridiculously awesome! I give it two green hands up!

Old things are cool things!
I strolled down Capitol Mall toward the Tower Bridge/Old Sacramento area.
The spiffy golden Tower Bridge, which links Sacramento to West Sacramento. The art deco style bridge was completed in the mid-1930's and was the first vertical lift bridge in California. It's one super awesome bridge!
The Hawaiian Chieftain ship, which was built in Hawaii about 25 years ago, is no longer docked in the Old Sac harbor. (I did promise you more old photos, and these are it!) But when the ship was there, it was super awesome! Especially when it went down the river with its sails at full mast.
After admiring the spiffy ship, I wandered into some of the Old Sac stores. Old things in Old Sac.
And not-so-old things. Spifftacular!

Elephants and smoothies in the plaza
Hidy-ho, Little Man fans! I've been a busy little man sorting through my abundance of photos. And goodness gracious me, I found some photos I should have posted long ago!
These photos are from a jaunt to Downtown Plaza late last year. After all, that was before the Elephant Man and his elephants were kicked out.
The Elephant Man, also known as Andy Swan, was displaying his thousands of elephant items. Passerbys like me could look at his collection through the windows. He was aiming for a Guiness World Record for most elephant items.
His elephant stuff was pretty awesome. But boy, was I thirsty.
On my way to Jamba Juice, I stopped to sit on a croissant.
Then I decided I might as well sit on the strawberry.
I skipped the cup of coffee. After all, who wants to sit in a cup of coffee?
Inside Jamba Juice, I ordered an awesome Strawberries Wild smoothie. Then I went and waited on a table. In little man terms, that means I went onto the table and waited.
Soon my smoothie was ready. I grabbed it and lugged it outside to a table to enjoy. It was super awesome! Stay tuned for more old photos!

Rest 'n' walk
Sunny days are awesome days! And perfect for a long walk! Time to stretch out my little man legs! There are always quite a few people at the Barge Canal Access area in West Sacramento so I decided to check it out.
Do you spy me in the picture above?
Lots of people were fishing or boating.
Me? I was going for a fantastic walk along the Sacramento River.
I took plenty of rests along the way, too. This is me resting near the river.
Resting in a pile of leaves.
And resting on a bench! I had an awesome day of walking and resting!

Caps and stems
My big friend brought me this awesome mushroom cookie-making kit.
Here are the contents of the package:
White chocolate, regular chocolate, mushroom stem cookies, and a mushroom cap mold.
After warming up the chocolate by letting it sit in a bowl of hot water, the chocolate's ready to be squeezed into the molds! Then into the chocolate goes the cookie stems.
Oh, scrumptious mushrooms, hurry up and set so I can eat you.
Look at my mushrooms! Don't they look awesome?
They were quite tasty, too.
Munch, munch.
