I strolled down Capitol Mall toward the Tower Bridge/Old Sacramento area.
The spiffy golden Tower Bridge, which links Sacramento to West Sacramento. The art deco style bridge was completed in the mid-1930's and was the first vertical lift bridge in California. It's one super awesome bridge!
The Hawaiian Chieftain ship, which was built in Hawaii about 25 years ago, is no longer docked in the Old Sac harbor. (I did promise you more old photos, and these are it!) But when the ship was there, it was super awesome! Especially when it went down the river with its sails at full mast.
After admiring the spiffy ship, I wandered into some of the Old Sac stores. Old things in Old Sac.
And not-so-old things. Spifftacular!
