BBBF's = best baker buddies forever

Looking for a unique gift to give your baker buddies?  Well, you're in luck!  You can make them some awesome homemade vanilla extract!  It's easy peasy, nice and easy!  (The little lad would surely agree!)  All you need is vodka and vanilla beans.



Get a clean bottle, cut the beans in half lengthwise and toss them into the bottle, and then fill up the bottle with vodka.  Store the bottle in a dark place and shake every now and then.  Voilà!  A month or so later, the vanilla extract is ready to use or give away to your BBBF's!



My artistic big friend made me some awesome blue and white striped labels: Little Mans' Old Tyme Vanilla Extract!  Doesn't get much more classy than that.  Oh, and if you have leftover vodka, my other big friend suggests you make a screwdriver -- a tasty orange juice and vodka drink.  Awesome!
