This part of the rock had shells embedded in it.
I then climbed back up the staircase and explored the rest of the awesome nature reserve.
The awesome blue ocean and blue sky. Lots of brown pelicans were flying up and down the coast.
I was admiring some awesome orange flowers when a ground squirrel ran up to them and gobbled them up in a flash. The flowers must have been delicious. I would have loved to try one but the squirrel had eaten them all up. Maybe next time.
Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve was a most awesome place! I had a most awesome time!
How did you not get eaten by a pelican or squirrel?
