Where's the elk in the grove?

Old Sacramento, Old Folsom... Old Elk Grove?  Why, yes, there's an Old Elk Grove!  Officially, it's known as Old Town Elk Grove.



This is me strolling into Old Town Elk Grove. 



And this is me sitting on the Old Town Elk Grove sign.  Awesome!



Old Town Elk Grove is situated along a stretch of busy Elk Grove Boulevard.  Tons of cars zip by; few stop.  After all, there's not much to this place.



There are spiffy historical buildings but where's the historical information?  I love learning about the places I go, and I learned nothing here. 



Perhaps they need a museum to liven things up.  I love museums!  Museums are awesome!



Although Old Town Elk Grove is not terribly interesting, their sign/logo is pretty awesome!
