Happy haunted Halloween

Boo!

It's Halloween!

The perfect time to roll around bloodshot eyeballs...

...ride on spiders...

...and eat candy!  Score!

Looked like the spider wanted some candy, too.

Or maybe it just wanted me.  Go scare up some fun while I try to escape this arachnid.

'Twas the night before Halloween...

...and a stray pair of eyeballs was hanging with Little Man.

Pasty shack

The Pasty Shack is on J Street in East Sacramento.

You can order already baked pasties or take-and-bake pasties.

I ordered a Cornish pasty and a chicken and veggies pasty, already baked.

Digging into the Cornish pasty, which was full of beef and potatoes.

Then digging into the chicken and veggies pasty.

Mmm, a green lima bean!  Both pasties were awesome!

Chest of tricks

While visiting my big friend, I played with this little chest of drawers.

Bottom drawer!  I pulled it in with me still in it, then came out of the...

...middle drawer!  Pulled that one in...

Top drawer!  For a top little man!

Huzzah!

Then I accidentally fell off.

This last one was definitely not a trick.

Sticky labels

I bought myself an awesome new colander.

It's a fantastic yellow color, just like my pants!

It's full of holes, which is unlike my spiffy plastic pants.

I got a bit wrapped up in the sticky labels when removing them.

Closer to my size

Sometimes I crave food that's closer to my size, such as this sushi.

Cake bake

Have you ever seen Food Network's Ace of Cakes?  I can't do anything that large scale.

But for a little man, I can make a decent cake.

I borrowed my big friend's cake mold.

I filled the hole with awesome chocolate mousse.

Then I put the two pieces together.  What a spiffy brown mound.

I frosted the cake with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Here, have a piece of cake. It tastes awesome.

Gun it to Gunther's! #2

I took another trip to Gunther's Ice Cream on Franklin Boulevard.

All praise Gunther's fruit freezes!

I also ordered a scoop of peanut butter cup ice cream.

Mmm!  It was all awesome!  I'll definitely be back.

Sandwich, soup, and slaw

Lunch time!

I had a grilled sandwich.  Those grill lines are totally awesome!

Finishing the rest of my delectable chicken noodle soup.

And a large container of coleslaw. D-licious!

Cap gun

Boys and girls, ladies and gents, this is a toy gun.

Note the bright orange tip.

I opened up the package and pulled the gun out.

Then I opened up the package of caps.

Holding a few rounds.

Sticking the caps in the barrel. Wowie, the shots were loud!  If I had little plastic ears, they would have been blown right off.

Cereal cup

I poured myself a glass of milk. Then I decided to have some cereal, too.  I pushed out my box of Honey Bunches of Oats.

I poured the cereal in my glass to save time.

I accidentally spilled some cereal on the table in the process.

I gobbled up the fallen flakes, thus cleaning up my mess.

Red fish, blue fish

One fish, two fish.

Perfect to cook and serve on a dish.

Let's sit on blue.

And maybe red, too.

Red fish, blue fish.

Maybe they won't end up on a dish. (Dr. Seuss rocks!)
