Awesome art Part II

I admired the awesome paintings in the spiffy gold frames at the Crocker Art Museum.

Then I took a gander at Clayton Bailey's World of Wonders.

The Clayton Bailey exhibit spanned 50 years of his artwork and included cool robots and strange ceramics.

After getting my fill of artwork, I took a stroll outside through the courtyard.

I hope you're having a rockin' New Year's Eve.  I am!  And I sure can't wait to have more adventures in 2012!  2012 is going to rock!

Awesome art Part I

I visited the awesome Crocker Art Museum in downtown Sacramento.

Established in 1885, the Crocker was the first public art museum in the western United States.

The museum has a fabulous array of artwork.

I had lots of fun wandering through the rooms.

I also almost got stepped on!  But I guess that's just one of the dangers of being a little man in a big world.  Stayed tuned for Part II.

Cheesy letters

Cheez-its are delicious cheesy crackers.

They're especially awesome when you can spell cool words with them.

Gun it to Gunther's! #4

I had a fabulous sundae at Gunther's Ice Cream for dessert.

It was awesome eating ice cream on a chilly night.

Three scoops of ice cream, marshmallow and fudge sauces, nuts...

Yes! I finished it all!

Soda pop

I love soda.

Coca-Cola, Pepsi... how about Jarritos?

Jarritos soda is made in Mexico and comes in awesome flavors like pineapple and mandarin.

Jarritos soda rocks!

A merry, awesome Christmas

'Tis the season to be jolly and wear an awesome green or red shirt!

I hope you all have an awesome Christmas!

Even if you don't get any presents, remember you have awesome hair.

And if you no longer have hair, well, you have a totally awesome head!

Just be careful not to get tangled up in the tree decorations.

Merry Christmas!

Super stamps

'Tis the season to mail a nice card or letter to your buddies to wish 'em a happy holiday.

(Hopefully you already sent out your mail, or else it's going to be late.)

The USPS has tons of awesome stamp designs to choose from so you can send your mail in style!

Look! Ronald Reagan stamps! (He loved Jelly Belly jelly beans. So do I!)

Stamps sure are awesome.

They're also great for just collecting.

Let's help keep the awesome USPS in business!

Red and white striped

'Tis the season to eat candy!

Especially the red and white striped kind.

Lollipops are cool, too.

And so are pink, yellow, and blue rounds.

Maybe you can come help me eat this awesome candy.

And then we can go ring-ting-tingling on an awesome sleigh ride together!

Bake and eat

'Tis the season to bake and eat cookies!

One of my big friends was baking awesome chocolate chip cookies.

I jumped in to help.

And accidentally got scooped up instead.

So I went and sat on a mound of dough instead.

It was totally awesome!

Fun with metal

There are all sorts of awesome things lying around my big friends' place that are perfect for a little man to have fun with.

See me? No? Well, here's a different view:

Diggin' Malakoff Diggins Part VI

After my awesome hike through the forest, I emerged into the awesome sunlight!

I trekked down the road.

I paased a cool lake.

Far down the road was the North Bloomfield drain tunnel.

The tunnel is 7,874 feet long and served as a drain for hydraulic mining efforts.  It was built between 1872 and 1874.

Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park sure was an awesome place! I highly recommend a visit!
