Twinkle, twinkle, ugly star

One of my big friends drew this spectacularly ugly face on a star-shaped piece of paper.

Awesome, isn't it?

Mama, Papa, and Little Man

Have you ever heard of the video game "Cooking Mama"?  Well, I recently went to a Chinese restaurant called "Cooking Papa".  I guess both Mama and Papa like to cook.  I like to cook, too!  You can call me "Cooking Little Man"!  I suppose that doesn't have the same ring to it, though.  Maybe I can be "Cooking LM".

Anyways, at Cooking Papa, I looked through the menu.

Then, while waiting for the waiter to return so I could place my order, I posed with the dishes.  Fun times!

I ordered deep fried squid.  It was absolutely squid-tastic!

Roasted pork.  Oh, how I love the skin on roasted pork.  So crispy and delicious.  The pork was rather fatty but I ate it all up, it was that delicious!

I also ordered some Hong Kong style chow mein.

And last but not least, I enjoyed some chicken and salted fish fried rice.  It was fishy yet fantastic!  I think Papa is an awesome cook!

Doggie treats

Mmm!  Snoopy Cookies!  Yum!

Have you ever had Snoopy Butter & Chocolate Cookies?  Well, if not, that's not my problem.  Just kidding!  That was mean.  Unfortunately, I don't have any more left.  Why?  Because I ate them all up!  They were awesome!

There were different shapes, kind of like those Danish butter cookies.

My favorite was chocolate chip.  Nom nom nom.  So delicious!

A plumber named Mario

Around the holidays, I met a plumber named Mario.  He started acting strange while we were chatting.

So I decided to be strange, too!

I stood next to him and tried to copy what he was doing, only it didn't work too well since my arms are kind of stiff, seeing that I am made of plastic.

Then, all of a sudden, he turned around and tackled me to the ground.

Good thing he soon left.  He was terribly rude.  I hung out with these spotted guys for a while afterwards, but they weren't much for conversation.

The art of making a foil ball

Happy 2014, awesome blog readers!  My first post for the new year is all about making a foil ball.  There's more to them than what meets the eye.  Why, there's an art to the whole thing.  Let's start off with the type of foil.

Wrong kind of foil.  Won't stick.

Right kind of foil.  But a lot of work.

"Work" meaning that you have to separate the foil from the paper.  This type of foil comes primarily from gum wrappers and, due to the adhesive residue, the foil sticks and makes for a pretty foil ball.

Paper on left.  Foil on right.

A pile of just separated foil.  Whew, exhausting!

I already had a small foil ball I had started.  I rolled another piece of foil around the ball.

Then I kept rolling it until it was nice and smooth.

It's a lot of work but it's totally worth it.  All you gotta do is keep rolling more foil around your ball to make it awesome and large.  Foil balls rock!
