Bye bye, Seattle

On my last day in Seattle, I had a delightful assortment of pastries from Bakery Nouveau.

Such beautiful golden brownness!

I started off with the fish eye.  Mmm, tasty.

Then I visited Bruce Lee's grave.  He's buried at Lake View Cemetery and his grave seems to be the most popular one there!

That afternoon I had some gelato at D'Ambrosio Gelato.

Then it was time to pack up.  Since I wear the same plastic clothes every day, packing up is always quick and easy!  I had an awesome trip!

Zoo-tastic!

I visited Woodland Park Zoo.

It's a zoo located in Seattle's -- where else? -- Woodland Park!

The zoo was founded in 1899.

This sign said to "explore inside" the model weaver nest so inside I sat.

And this sign asked, "How BIG is a hippo foot?"  The answer?  A whole lot bigger than Little Man!

I saw lots of fake animals at the zoo.  Well, this is a piece of a fake Visayan warty pig.

A fake primate even held me in its hand.

And then...

Real animals!  Such as this white-faced whistling duck...

...and these giraffes!  I had an awesome time at the zoo!  The fake animals and the real animals were all awesome!

Serious about pie

After spending time in the cold, cold snow, it was time to eat some warm, warm food!

We went to Serious Pie & Biscuit.

Before we got serious about our pie, though, we started off with a delectable kale salad!  It was as green as my spiffy green shirt!

Then our pizzas arrived.  Boy, they looked awesome!

We had a Yukon Gold potato pizza.  Potatoes on a pizza was interesting.

This pizza had soft eggs, prosciutto, and arugula.  It was awesome!

The third pizza had fennel sausage and roasted peppers.  Mmm, delicious.  This was clearly a more "traditional" pizza.

Outside the restaurant was a large pig statue and chalk for writing and drawing on it.  My big friends love me so much that one of them grabbed a piece of chalk to show the love for me, their awesome plastic friend!

Let it snow Part II

I had a blast at Mt. Rainier National Park.

Luckily, I did not see any yellow snow.  Remember, boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen: Never eat yellow snow!

Can you find me in the tree?

Here's a close up!  Now this would be a perfect holiday card picture if only I sent out holiday cards!

There were even icicles hanging from the tree branches.

Shoobeedoobeedoo.  Here I am in a snow "cave".

And before my big friends and I left the park, my big friends built a small snow Dale Chihuly.  You know, the glass artist.

Awesome hair, Snow-huly!

Let it snow Part I

My big friends and I took a nice drive out to Mt. Rainier National Park in Washington.

There was lots of snow at the park.  Everything was so blindingly white that my big friends whipped out their sunglasses.  I, being made of plastic, didn't need sunglasses.

I had fun making a snowman...

...hiking through the snow...

...and burying myself in the snow.  I must say it's definitely a different experience from being buried in sand on a beach!

And I enjoyed the sights all around!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

...and come back for more snow photos!
