Tasty pastries

Mahoroba Japanese Bakery makes some downright tasty pastries!

Everything looked so delicious at the bakery!  Sadly, I could not get everything so I narrowed it down to four kinds: double chocolate, hazelnut, hot dog, and egg and bacon.

My gosh, were they delightful!  I devoured them in no time.  Face plant in the egg yolk!

A merry little Christmas

Howdy, awesome blog readers!

Reindeer are abundant this time of year...

...as are small holiday villages filled with scary little bears. Ooh.

I'm having myself a merry little Christmas because I'm a merry little man!

I'm also having some tasty and festive hors d'oeuvres (no figgy pudding for me!).

Then I'm off to spend time with my awesome big friends and eat cake and other delicious foods!  Happy holidays!  Wahoo!

The magic of the season

Time to check your lists twice!

Better check the time twice, too.

It's time to roll out the wrapping paper...

<

...and bring out the magic of the season.

Magic Tape, that is.  Scotch Magic Tape -- it's super awesome.  And it comes in a super duper awesome green box.

I wrapped this magnificently gigantic present!  It took me ages but I got it done!  Happy Christmas Eve, everyone!

All for me and naan for you! Part II

Here I am still eating at Pooja's lunch buffet in West Sacramento.

If you've been keeping count, this is plate four.

And how awesome is this? Fried potato slices!  Delicious!

After I filled myself up, it was time for some dessert.  Here I am resting in a small bowl of gulab jamun, one of them cut in half, before I devour it.

No! This is not an orange poo! It is awesome mango softserve.

After eating all that food, there's nothing like relaxing with a warm, tasty cup of chai tea. Pooja rocks!

All for me and naan for you! Part I

Howdy, awesome blog readers!

Sometimes I really enjoy a good Indian buffet.  Here I am at Pooja Indian Grill's all-you-can-eat lunch buffet.  Fill yourself to the brim with tasty, bready naan!

Wow, these pieces of naan are huge and heavy!

Mmm! A delicious plateful of chicken tikka masala.  It's probably my favorite Indian dish.

Ahhh, after a lot of hard work eating there's nothing more comfortable than a bed of basmati rice!

After napping, time for round two.  To be continued!

Tower of bagels

I got a bag of bagels from Safeway.

Looking up at the bag and thinking about the bagelly goodness inside.

I climbed all the way up the bag.  I got in a great workout!

Then I dived into the bagels and breathed in the awesome smell.  Ahh.

I made a tower of bagels on a plate.  I bet you can't figure out how I got them out of the bag!

Relaxing on the bagel.  Jalapeno bagels rock!  I like how the jalapenos are green.  Green, after all, is one of my favorite colors!

Big and beefy... the pie and me!

Marie Callender is one awesome lady when it comes to making pies. Pies are her thing, let me tell you.

Anyway, I picked up one of her beef pot pies from the grocery store.

Here I am opening the box.  Wowie, this was exciting!

Got the pie out of the box! Almost ready to toss the pie into the oven to bake, after which the long wait began.

After nearly an hour, will you look at that.  My pie had a little case of the squirts. It leaked a bit of brown beefy gravy.

Munch, munch, munch! I nibbled away some of the edge crust. And if you think the pie miraculously changed color from the prior photo, nope, it's just the lighting.

I decided to plate myself some of the pie. It was just awesome. I have plenty of leftovers, too.  This Marie rocks, just like Marie the donut lady!  Awesome!

Long John, Little Man

Hello, hello!  This is Little Man reporting from the mile-high pile of deep fried shrimp and fish from Long John Silver's.

When getting food from the combo Long John Silver's and KFC, you have to get the potato wedges.  They are simply AWESOME!  Give me an A!  "A!"  Give me a W!  "W!"  You get the idea.

Hmm, I seem to have a bit of leftover tartar sauce.  Perhaps I can use it with some strawberry jam and make some delicious sandwiches.
