Deadly beaches are awesome!

I brought along some La Bou ham and cheese croissants for my trip to a deadly California beach.

Might as well get in some eating while I'm alive.  And boy, oh, boy, were these croissants tasty!  Let's throw our arms up in the air for La Bou croissants!

And let's throw our arms up in the air for being on one of the most deadly beaches in California!  Well, at least that's what the sign said.

Where was I?  Why, I was at Sonoma Coast State Beach near Goat Rock.

The beach is only deadly if someone goes into the water.  That would explain why zero big peeps were in the water.

All of the big peeps and little peeps (me!) stayed on the sand, as did the seagulls in the distance in the above photo and the harbor seals  in the background of the below photo.

It was awesome, sunny, and windy at Sonoma Coast State Beach.

This was one deadly beach that rocked!  Awesome!

Bringing Gunther home

Why go to Gunther's when you can bring Gunther home?

Well, actually, I had to go to Gunther's to buy this tub of fruit freeze, but it means that the next time I want a fruit freeze, I won't have to wait in the long line that queues out the door on hot summer days.

Opening the tub.  Ahhh.  Such cold, orange-y deliciousness!

Holding a fruit freezeball.

I scooped some of the fruit freeze into a glass.

Then I added some good ol' Thrifty vanilla ice cream.

And then another scoop of orange freeze.  It was my own 50/50!  And it was super awesome!

Little squares of art

I meandered through this little gallery, admiring the pictures on the walls.

Ooh.

Ah.

This awesome little gallery folded up neatly into a flat book of USPS stamps.

Stamps sure are awesome.

I love all the different designs and colors.  These little squares of art rock big time!

And remember, boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen: All squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares.  How awesome!

Great balls of meat

I went to IKEA, not to buy home furnishings, but to eat some delicious Swedish meatballs.

The meatballs were served with mashed potatoes, gravy, and lingonberry preserves.  Awesome.  Lingonberry preserves rock!

A Google-y good time

I took a stroll around the Google campus in Mountain View, where I sat on this awesome, giant donut:

If you can't find me in the above photo, below is a close-up of which sprinkle I was sitting on.

Green sprinkles rock, especially giant, fake green sprinkles!  The yellow sprinkles were pretty awesome, too.

I then sat on a green android coming out of a honey comb.

The android was missing its antennae.  Maybe the bee ate them.

Little man, big fruit

My big friends and I enjoyed a sunny and fruity day in Sunnyvale.

I spent time with these awesome, big pieces of fake fruit.

Then we headed to the Libby Water Tower, which is supposed to look like a giant can of fruit.

"Libby's Fancy Fruits for Salads"!  Fancy fruits are simply the best -- unlike non-fancy fruits, I suppose.

After all that fruity good time, it was time for a snack.  We opted not for fruit but for some popcorn.  Awesome!  I dove right into the bag!
