The cat in the box

I put my coin down for a moment.

Then suddenly the box lid went up.

And a sneaky white cat with brown spots snatched my coin!

Coin thief!

Good-bye, quarter.

A hungry little man's dream

A shelf full of sushi!

(The sushi is colorful -- just like me!  Awesome!)

Cheesy pillows

When I want to hang with my Korean peeps, I go down to Sunnyvale. Of course I have to make a stop by the wonderful bakery Paris Baguette!  I got there late so the selection was lacking, but I was still able to pick up a few fantastic pastries.

Here I am relaxing on a soft, pillowy cheese cake. Ahhh! So soft! To the left of me is a chocolate twist. Twisty and chocolaty!

And those other two pastries, well, my brain forgets what they were but they were undoubtedly delicious!

Cake in a box Part II

I dumped the sugar onto the cake.  I couldn't resist rolling around and frolicking in the sugar.

What can I say?  It was almost like powdery snow.  And I love snow.

After a little fun in the sugar, I tied the bag back up and got the cake all sugared up.  It took a while but I got it done.

Ta-da!  It's not exactly the most beatific thing in the world but behold it in all its sugar-coated glory!  It was now time to taste the cake!

I cut a nice, big slice for my big friend to enjoy.

Then I sat down to try it myself.  Hmm.  The cake was dry and tasted of what it reeked -- yeast.  The cake was kind of not awesome.  What a disappointment.  Oh, well.  I can't wait for more awesome food-tasting adventures!

Cake in a box Part I

Howdy, awesome people!  I'm standing on top of the world!  No, wait, it's just the top of a box.

But it's not just any ol' box.  It's the box with the cake.  Haven't you always seen these boxed cakes in the store and wondered what they were like?  Well, I'm about to find out.  Paluani il Pandoro di Verona, here I come!

The cake comes with instructions.  The instructions aren't in English but I got the gist of it by looking at the illustrations.  Let's see.  The cake's in a bag.  Open the bag and pour the sugar in.  Cut the cake.  Sounds simple enough.  Let's start!

I opened the box and there was the cake in a bag.  I pulled the cake out of the box.

Then I lugged out the packet of sugar.

Then I opened the bag.  Whoa!  A super duper yeasty smell hit me and nearly knocked me off my little black plastic shoes.  Well, that's an Italian cake for you!  Come back for the sugar-coating party!

Head over heels

...and right into a spool of thread!

Good thing one of my big friends happened to come along and plucked me out of there.  Awesome!
