No pigeons here

It was a spiffy and windy day down by Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park in Pescadero.

It's, oh, so sad to say but the lighthouse isn't open and will remain that way until it is restored.  But meanwhile, the grounds are open and you can enjoy all the awesome plants!

You might also see some rodents scurrying about.  But you won't see any pigeons!

Anytime is snack time

Ah, Boursin garlic and fine herbs gournay cheese!  It makes for one fantabulous snack!

And what an awesome green color used on the package!  It matches my spiffy green shirt and mighty green hands!

Oh boy, oh boy, was I excited to eat some fine cheese!  I opened a package and pulled out the chunk of cheese as fast as a little man can.

I had to flip it over to peel away the foil wrapping.

Awesome!

Mmm!  So good!

And it's even better with crackers!  I had an awesome snack!  Boursin cheese rocks!

Barney burgers

Nothing quite satisfies a little man's appetite like a good ol' burger (or two)!

So off to Barney's Gourmet Hamburgers in Oakland I went!

Barney's was established in 1978 and now has several locations in California.

I started off with the spicy curly fries, which were served with ranch dressing.  They were so good, they made my toes curl!

Then I enjoyed my Baja Burger.  It had avocado, jack cheese, bacon, and salsa.  You can never go wrong with bacon!  Bacon makes everything better!

And then I enjoyed my Santa Fe Burger.  This burger was topped with cheddar cheese, onions, and lots of jalapenos.  Goodness gracious, great slices of spiciness!  I had one awesome meal!  Barney's rocked!

Artsy Oakland Part IV

I sure did love all the interactive exhibits at the museum!  They were awesome fun!  One of the exhibits encouraged museum-goers to share how technology has impacted their lives.  Well, my big friend wrote for me as I dictated.  She stated that since I'm so small, I'm terribly slow when it comes to writing.  She's so silly sometimes!

Another exhibit was a large timeline.  There was one awesome event that happened in 2010 that was missing so we added it!

Boy, all that excitement made me hungry so off to the overpriced Blue Oak cafe we went!

See me in the above picture?  ("L" is for Little Man!)

We got a chocolate chip cookie and a peanut butter cookie to snack on.  Munch, munch.

Afterwards, we wandered around the museum some more.

Then it was off to our next stop!  We bid adieu to the awesome Oakland Museum of California.

Toodle-loo!  Till next time, my awesome blog readers!

Artsy Oakland Part III

There were so many awesome displays at the Oakland Museum of California.  Let's take a gander at some of them!

And you'll certainly like this next one!

Come back for the final part, Part IV!  Till then, I hope you have an awesome time!
