Fabulous Folsom Part IV

After admiring the awesome tools in the machine shop, I went strolling through the grounds.



Awesome green grass and awesome green weeds!  I sure do love the color green.







Walking down the trail...



...to the awesome grinding rock!  The holes were filled with water; they were like swimming pools to a little man.  The grinding rock is where Native Americans prepared their awesome acorn meal.



I then hiked down to the river; this part of the American River is called Lake Natoma.  There were lots of birds nearby, including mallards, seagulls, Canadian geese, and an American coot.  Cool!
