Call of the wild Part III

I wandered through the park.  There was lots of awesome stuff to see!

Resting on a wood bench along my way uphill to the lake that Jack London built.  It currently isn't much of a lake; there are fundraising efforts for its restoration.

At a vineyard.

Near the Old Winery ruins, which was damaged by the 1906 earthquake and later converted into living quarters by Jack and Charmian London for their workers and guests.  It was then destroyed by fire in 1965.

An awesome spineless cactus garden.  Jack had attempted to grow spineless cactus for cattle feed after seeing cattle in Hawaii living well on cactus with spines.  It wasn't successful, and these are not original plants from Jack's time.

Coming up next is Part IV, the last part!
