Pesto chango

One of my big friends was making pesto with basil fresh from the garden.



While my big friend gathered ingredients to make the pesto, I immersed myself in the basil and inhaled the aromatic scent.  Ahhhh. 



The ingredients: basil, olive oil, parmesan cheese, garlic, and toasted almonds.



The apparatus to make the pesto: a blender.  After watching my big friend make pesto in a blender, I came to the conclusion that my big friend really ought to invest in a food processor, as it would be much quicker.



After everything was blended together two hours later -- just kidding about the two hours! -- I peeked into the blender.  Such awesome greenness!
