Little Man, big trees Part II

I visited the North Grove at Calaveras Big Trees State Park. 



The North Grove trail is a 1-1/2 mile long loop. 



I sure do love hiking!





"The Small World of a Big Tree".  What an awesome title.  This display panel described the root sytem, foliage, soil, and other awesome things in the world of a tree. 



The trees were, of course, downright awesome and big.
